The Autumn Reset Retreat

A full-day reset for body, mind, and soul

Saturday, September 19th | 10 AM – 4 PM

Sherwood Farm, King City

Autumn is the time to reset

Fall invites us to slow down, release what we no longer need, and return to ourselves.

Join us for a peaceful, nourishing day at the farm designed to help you exhale, restore your energy, and leave feeling grounded, centred, and refreshed.

The Autumn Reset is set on 70 acres of rolling countryside just one hour north of Toronto at Sherwood Farm Retreat. The day brings together gentle yoga and breathwork, an introduction to Qigong, equine connection, nourishing food, walks in nature, reflection, and time to be still.

Come on your own, bring a friend, or gift the day to someone who could use a day for themselves.

The day is yours to make your own.

Our Philosophy

Our retreats are designed to feel warm, welcoming, and low-pressure — a space where you can participate fully, move slowly, or simply take what you need.

You can stay with the group, wander the grounds alone, practice yoga, journal, make friends, sit quietly, join a workshop, rest in nature, or choose your own rhythm throughout the day.

Everything is optional.

Location

Once home to thoroughbred horses, Sherwood Farm Retreat is a family-owned retreat property owned by Theresa Sherwood, located in beautiful King Township just one hour north of Toronto.

With 70 peaceful acres of rolling hills, open countryside, a Georgian-style house, stables, and quiet natural beauty, the farm offers the kind of grounding atmosphere that makes you exhale the moment you arrive.

Equine Connection

Experience the Presence of Horses

In honour of 2026, the Year of the Horse, this year’s retreat includes a guided equine connection experience inspired by the energy horses represent: strength, intuition, freedom, grounding, and forward movement.

And no — this is not horseback riding. 😉

This is a gentle, reflective session designed to help you slow down, tune in, and experience the calming presence of horses in a grounded and supportive way.

Horses are incredibly intuitive animals. They respond to energy, presence, and body language, offering a beautiful invitation to notice what you’re carrying and reconnect with a sense of calm.

Through meditation, journaling, creative reflection, and group sharing, you’ll have space to connect with the horses, the land, and the deeper themes of the retreat.

Yoga, Qigong & Energy Flow

One of the most loved parts of our retreats is the yoga practice itself: a chance to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with your body.

Following the revitalizing yoga practice, we'll flow through a Qigong session — two practices that support calm, energy flow, and nervous system regulation.

Pronounced “chee-gong,” Qigong literally translates to energy work and can be thought of as a moving meditation practice with Traditional Chinese Medicine roots.

Both practices are gentle, accessible, and beginner-friendly.
